How should I properly charge and maintain the Deetago EK2 battery?
For optimal battery life, we highly recommend an initial first charge of 12 hours before the very first ride. Standard subsequent charging takes about 4–5 hours; the smart charger LED light will turn from Red (charging) to Green (fully charged). Always charge in a clean, dry environment using the original charger, and never charge if the port is wet. If storing the bike long-term, keep the battery fully charged in a cool, dry place and recharge it periodically to avoid degradation.
What are the key assembly instructions and pre-ride safety rules for parents?
Assembly should always be completed by an adult, which includes securely mounting the handlebars with the provided M8×20mm screws and locking the front wheel into the shock-absorbing fork slots. For absolute safety, riders must always wear a helmet and protective gear. The EK2 is strictly prohibited on public roads or highways.
