Warranty Policy

At Deetago® (deetago.net), we engineer our powersports vehicles to endure the toughest trails and the smartest urban commutes. We stand firmly behind our craftsmanship. This Limited Warranty guarantees that your product will be free from manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

📋 Applicability: This warranty applies strictly to the original retail purchaser who bought the vehicle directly from deetago.net or an authorized Deetago dealer. It is non-transferable.

1. Warranty Periods by Product Component

Different parts of your vehicle experience different levels of stress. To ensure fair coverage, our warranty is structured by component types across our electric and gas lineups:

2. Warranty Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

Powersports vehicles are subjected to extreme environments. This limited warranty does not cover damages resulting from operational wear-and-tear, negligence, or aggressive riding styles.

❌ Normal Wear and Tear Items

The following parts are designed to wear down during regular use and are strictly excluded from warranty coverage unless found defective immediately upon unboxing:

  • Tires, inner tubes, brake pads, brake discs, and brake cables.

  • Drive chains, belts, sprockets, clutches, and spark plugs.

  • Plastic body fenders, seat upholstery, grips, and footpegs.

❌ Misuse, Alteration, and Environmental Damage

This warranty becomes instantly void under the following conditions:

  • Abuse & Accidents: Damage caused by crashes, jumping, stunt riding, racing, or operating beyond the specified weight capacities.

  • Improper Assembly/Maintenance: Failure to assemble the vehicle correctly, neglecting routine maintenance (e.g., incorrect fuel-to-oil mixing ratios for gas engines, or letting lithium batteries completely drain to 0% during seasonal storage).

  • Water Damage: Submerging electrical components in water or cleaning them with high-pressure power washers. (Electric vehicles are water-resistant, not waterproof).

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Installing aftermarket parts, altering the speed controller/governor, or modifying the powertrain/wiring harness without written approval from Deetago.

  • Commercial Use: Use of the vehicle for commercial rental fleets, courier services, or corporate ride-sharing.

3. How to File a Warranty Claim

If you experience a structural or mechanical issue with your Deetago vehicle, stop riding it immediately and follow these steps to submit a claim:

  1. Gather Evidence: Locate your original Order Number and the vehicle's VIN / Serial Number (stamped on the frame).

  2. Document the Issue: Take clear, high-resolution photos and a short video (under 1 minute) demonstrating the technical malfunction or component failure.

  3. Submit the Claim: Email our management and warranty team directly at manager@deetago.us.

Our technical engineering department will review your submission within 24 to 48 business hours to diagnose the problem.

4. Remedies and Resolution

If a defect is confirmed to be covered under this warranty, Deetago will resolve the issue using one of the following methods, determined at our sole discretion:

  • Replacement Parts: We will ship the necessary replacement parts (along with step-by-step instructional repair videos) directly from our US or European warehouses to your address free of charge.

  • Localized Repair Credit: For complex mechanical issues within the first 30 days of ownership, we may authorize you to take the vehicle to a certified local powersports shop and cover pre-approved repair costs.

  • Vehicle Exchange: In rare instances of catastrophic, unfixable manufacturing defects discovered within 14 days of delivery, Deetago will coordinate a full vehicle exchange.

5. Limitation of Liability

Except as provided in this warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Deetago is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of property, or personal injury. Riding powersports involves inherent risks; always wear certified helmets and protective gear.
